Printing Services is committed to leading the charge to make responsible environmental choices that help place the University and the State of Minnesota at the forefront of the sustainability effort. We are dedicated to supporting the Board of Regents Policy on Sustainability and Energy Efficiency through both active implementation of environmentally-friendly printing practices as well as consultation with University departments regarding responsible communications decisions.

Printing Services is proud to be an FSC Certified Printer
Printing Services is currently certified as a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody Company through SmartWood, an FSC-accredited body. The certification means that finished wood-based products in the marketplace have been handled by companies that have also been certified and that your paper used for a specific project has been handled in an environmentally-friendly manner. Having met the criteria for using paper that is certified and properly handled, the FSC logo can be printed on the project to demonstrate this environmentally-friendly process and support the growth of responsible forest management worldwide. FSC is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests.
