Shawn Welch, Art Director at Printing Services, holds a bachelor of science degree in Graphic Design with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Minnesota. Shawn has been Art Director at Printing Services since 1999. He coordinates the work of the Graphic Design Studio and designs a wide variety of printed and electronic materials for colleges and departments throughout the University.

Shawn has an excellent sense for page layout and typography and enjoys exploring the psychological effects of color choice within design. Shawn is especially proud of his recent award-winning work for the College of Biological Sciences and the Bell Museum, as well as the marketing materials he produces for Printing Services.
