Printing Services gained an excellent designer and a valuable resource when Heidi Sandstad joined it’s design team in 2007.

Heidi is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. She spent four years as a print designer for Free Range Studios, a Washington, DC-based design studio, where she was responsible for print design for a wide range of both local and national non-profit clients.

Her sincere desire to understand every aspect of a communications project, combined with tremendous creativity and an acute attention to detail, have allowed Heidi to create highly effective communications.

In her time at the University, she has brought a fresh perspective to many successful projects, including Computer Science and Engineering’s commemorative “40 Years of Excellence” book, Academic Support Resources’ Annual Report, and her most recent project, a comprehensive print campaign for Orientation & First-Year Programs.
