Debra Lawton

Printing Services gained an excellent designer and a valuable resource when Debra Lawton recently joined it’s design team. Debra is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Design Communications. She received her MFA in Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and spent two years as the University of Wisconsin Art Department’s graphic designer. Most recently, Deb was a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she taught graphic design courses such as Intermediate Graphic Design, Typography, and Print Production. Her experience as an instructor and practical designer in the field of education make her a valuable resource for the University.

In addition to an excellence overall knowledge of the design discipline, Deb excels at typographic design and enjoys exploring the intricacies of color theory.
