Sysouk
Khambounmy, has been senior designer at Printing Services since 1998. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Design Communications.
His ten years of experience working with Colleges and departments at the University have given him a thorough understanding of the University of Minnesota and the unique challenges involved in clearly communicating the University’s core messages. Working under difficult constraints within the University system, Sysouk has been highly successful at combining a fresh, creative outlook with a solid understanding of design as the medium for conveying the intended message.
Over the past two years, Sysouk has helped the Office of Admissions re-invent how it communicates with prospective students, designing a comprehensive, award-winning new identity that has helped significantly increase freshman applications in each of the past three years. He has also continued his award-winning work on Parking and Transportation Services’ Metropass/U-Pass marketing campaign, and recently completed the Office of the Vice President for Research’s annual report which won, among other awards, Communicators Forum’s MIKE Award (People’s Choice).
